Mud Buds

Mud Buds is our popular, weekly kids program that runs every Saturday from 11am-12pm (Ages 2-12). No need to book ahead, this drop-in style program explores an optional new project each week, or your child(ren) can create from their imaginations!

  • Pottery is multi step process! It takes two studio visits to finish one creation (Week 1 to build it, week 2 to glaze it). We will hold your unglazed creations for 4 weeks before we recyle them. Please come back to glaze!

  • Mud Buds is first come, first served. Please be on time! The doors will open at 11am sharp

  • Children over 5 are eligible for drop off/pick up. Go grab a coffee! Just be back by noon please :)

  • Clay Passes are vailable for individual children & families:

    • Clay Pass - $115 ($35 savings) - Six studio visits and bring a buddy for only $15 instead of $25!

    • Family Clay Pass - $315 ($105 savings) - Six studio visits for up to four kids in a family. Bring a friend for only $15 instead of $25

    • Regular Entry Fee - $25 per child *Additional siblings in a family group are always $15 each

    Please allow 3-4 weeks after your child’s last visit to collect their completed pots. We do not sent out notifications - please send us a message if you would like to confirm it is ready or pop in during Mud Buds on Saturday mornings to collect.

Hand Building 101

Five weeks of learning and discovery - explore the versatility of hand building with clay using a variety of methods, both modern and ancient. Learn a variety of techniques including coil, slab and pinch pot building to create your own unique pottery.

Beginner’s Wheel

Join us for a comprehensive five week course on the wheel. This course will take you from the very beginning of the throwing process all the way to your first bowls and cylinders. The course also covers trimming, decorative techniques and handles for a well rounded introduction to creating your first pots on the wheel.

  • Five weeks (10+ hours) of instructional time

  • Small class sizes (more one on one time with your instructor)

  • Unlimited clay! (No need to worry about messing up, we make sure the clay is bottomless so the pressure is off to get it right, right away)

  • Glazes and firings included in class fee

  • 10% off your first monthly membership fee

Intermediate Wheel

Five weeks back at the wheel - expand your skill level by learning how to throw bigger forms, add galleries and lids, facet, throw spouts and more. In this course you will create your own chosen project on the wheel incorporating your new knowledge.

  • Small class sizes (more one on one time with your instructor)

  • 10+ hours of instructional time

  • Unlimited clay! (No need to worry about messing up, we make sure the clay is bottomless so the pressure is off to get it right, right away)

  • Glazes and firings included in class fee

  • $350

Cancellation Policy

Please note before booking a multi-week course that cancellations made within 10 days of the course start date are subject to a 50% cancellation fee.

Workshops or kids programs cancelled within 5 days of the event are subject to a 50% cancellation fee.

Cancellations made within 48 hours of the start of any course or workshop are non-refundable.

Please treat your classes/workshop like concert tickets, not appointments - Missed classes/workshops will not be offered at an alternative time. In the instance of emergency/illness, non-instructional time in the studio may be offered at the instructor’s discretion (Multi-week classes only). Please note - Class/Workshop cancellations may occur at short notice due to staff illness or low enrollment, in which case a full refund will be issued.
