Terms: Seasonal – June-September 2024

Salary: $18/hr + relevant tips

Hours: 25 hrs/week

Start Date: June 2nd, 2024-September 7th 2024

Requirements: The Pottery on Canyon requires one summer student to run the studio 25hrs/week between June and September. Hours will vary but generally be Thursday-Sunday.

Under the supervision of the studio owner and staff, you will assist with designing and running children’s pottery programs, drop-in wheel lessons, assisting staff with ceramic production, pottery sales, cleaning and general studio tasks.

Prior ceramic experience is considered an asset. Full training will be provided to the chosen candidate.

Qualifications:

1+ years of work experience. Preference will be given to those with relevant work experience (Arts, running kids programs)

Please Note: For The Pottery OC to qualify for the 2024 CBT Summer Works grant, the eligible candidate must be 15+ years old and enrolled in full time studies in either Secondary or Post Secondary education in both 2023/2024 & 2024/2025
